This is a great opportunity to become more involved in the school community by pitching ideas, discovering volunteer opportunities, modeling your commitment toward academic success for your children by being a consistent presence at their school, and more! Parents provide the most invaluable insight! All members of your child's support team are welcome to come. Principal Yates and I will be hosting this opportunity every month. The first Donuts with Grown Ups will be at Gorton in the cafeteria. Please park on Draper Ave. If you are facing the front of the school the door will be on the right side. Please enter through door D15. We're looking forward to seeing everybody!
There will be a FREE flu vaccine clinic happening in Warwick soon.
Here’s some important information about the FREE flu vaccine clinic:
• Register online at www.schoolflu.com to schedule an appointment.
• Online registration is required to ensure the availability of the vaccine.
• Insurance information will be collected, but the vaccine is FREE whether you have insurance or not.
The flu is a serious, highly contagious, and sometimes deadly disease. Catching the flu means missing days of work and school. You might even have to spend time in the hospital. Don’t take the risk — the flu vaccine is your best protection against the flu.
For more information, visit health.ri.gov/flu/, or call the Department of Health’s information line at 401-222-5960.
