Wonderful things have been happening at The Beach!
For those of you who don't know, because our school pantry located at Oakland Beach elementary school is a member agency of the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, we enjoy several perks that come along with that partnership. One of my personal favorites is the ability to work with their Healthy Habits nutrition education team. Healthy Habits has been working with a few classrooms at Oakland Beach for the past several weeks, here are some highlights from today's class where students created an edible plant! Eating healthy and having fun!
