Just a friendly "heads up" from Warwick Neck -- Please note that 1 week from today is a distance learning day for students. (Next Wednesday, May 10th) There will be NO live google meets or online classes as the teachers will be undertaking workshops. As a result, students will be asked to complete their work asynchronously, or at their own pace, during the day. Teachers will be providing additional information soon regarding distance learning assignments. (As always, our complete calendar can be found on the Warwick Neck website.) https://warwickneck.warwickschools.org/o/wne

Good morning! In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, you're invited to "untame your mane" with crazy hair today - Weds., May 3rd! Also, 5th graders going on the field trip to Mystic CT today should wear their new class t-shirt (along with sturdy shoes and warm clothes in case of rain and/or cold temperature fluctuations at the coast).

Today is an optional Pajama Day -- Tuesday, May 2nd to coincide with our Teacher Appreciation Week. Slippers are discouraged out of concern for safety at recess and Physical Education classes. Grade 1 students attending the RWP Zoo field trip are encouraged to wear regular clothes that allow for comfort in the cool and rainy weather conditions forecasted throughout the day.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!! Please check your child's backpack for a special envelope from the PTA if you have not already retrieved it. Additionally, Spring Picture Day is tomorrow, Monday, May 1st. As a result, we are skipping "Make a Difference Monday" and not wearing Feinstein t-shirts tomorrow. Students are welcome to wear special, spring attire or colors at their parent/guardian's discretion for the pictures. As always, purchasing photos is optional and package information is on our school website. Feinstein t-shirt wearing will resume next week. Have a great week!
