
Happy Tuesday! Spirit Week continues today with optional Orange clothing (for Kindergarten's "O" Day in the ABC Countdown) and Green clothing (for grades 1-5) to promote animal conservation! Optional donations to the efforts at the RWP Zoo are welcomed today, too. Have a great morning!!

Good evening! The "Walk-A-Thon" sponsored by Grade 4, originally planned for tomorrow, has been postponed due to unsettled weather to next Thursday, 6/15. However, as part of Spring Spirit Week, students are still invited to wear green tomorrow as we promote animal conservation (Kindg. students are invited to wear orange as part of their ABC Countdown for "O" Day). Optional donations of any amount are also welcomed and will be given to conservation efforts at the RWP Zoo.

As we enter the final 4 weeks of school, we've so much to look forward to before our last day on June 22nd! Happy Memorial Day! School reopens tomorrow, with 3rd grade attending their "Music on the Hill" field trip to Toll Gate HS. Also --- Parents/guardians of all grade-levels are advised to ensure their child's belongings are labeled with their names (especially reusable water bottles as temperatures become hot later this week). We have many belongings in our lost and found collection, with no student names, that will need to be donated to Good Will at the end of the year. To further help, we continue to display hoodies and jackets for identifying and retrieval at lunch times. All are encouraged to check the lost and found during school hours and obtain any lost items before our last day of school. Thank you!!

Today -- Friday, May 26th is red, white, and blue day at school as we honor Memorial Day. Thank you, as always, to our nation's military heroes for their bravery and sacrifice. Just a reminder, in recognition of the holiday, there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 29th. Classes resume on Tuesday. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 25th, we are having some fun and celebrating Red Nose Day at Warwick Neck! Red Nose Day is a national campaign to raise awareness about childhood poverty. All students are being given a red nose to optionally wear throughout the day thanks to funding from the Feinstein Foundation and planning from Mrs. Maguire, our 2nd grade teacher!
